Dr. Valeria Povolotsky has more than 15 years experience in Drug Development and over 10 years in Global Business Development, involving Licensing operations, M&A, and Venture investments. Having academic education in Science, Master degree in Biological Chemistry and Ph.D in Clinical Pharmacology, Dr. Povolotsky was involved in the development of 14 drugs, which are currently on the markets in different countries; she served as an R&D Head of two biotech companies in Israel, Lean-Ex and Modus Biological Membranes, as an investment expert at Magellan Summit Ventures, and as a leader of the Scientific Intelligence Strategy and Operations for Japanese company Daiichi Sankyo.

In 2006-2010 Valeria was with the Global Business Development of one of the leaders of Pharmaceutical Industry, Hoffmann La-Roche, responsible for Partnering in Emerging Markets.

As of now, Valeria has her own partnering business, Advanced Bio Design, and serves as a Vice President of the Global Partnering for Russian Pharmaceutical Company R-Pharm. She is leading strategy and execution of the International Partnering operations, bringing R-Pharm to the Global Markets.
