Ross Goodhart is a Principal at Siguler Guff & Company, a
global private equity firm which manages over $9.0 billion in
assets on behalf of corporate and state pension plans, university
endowments, sovereign wealth funds and other financial
institutions. The firm's investment funds target several
specialized areas, with a strong presence in the large emerging
markets of the BRICs economies (Brazil, Russia, India and
China).
In particular, Mr. Goodhart is responsible for coordinating all
aspects of Siguler Guff's Russian/CIS fund activities, through its
Russia Partners subsidiary, including fundraising, portfolio
management, due diligence, investment evaluation, structuring and
compliance. Russia Partners today manages approximately $1 billion
in private equity investments. Mr. Goodhart also acts as a liaison
between the firm's Russian and Chinese operations surrounding
potential cross-border transactions and joint ventures.
Prior to joining Siguler Guff in 2003, Mr. Goodhart worked as an
investment banker at Peter J. Solomon Company, L.P., where he
specialized in mergers and acquisitions and restructuring advisory
services within a broad array of industry sectors.
Mr. Goodhart holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with
high distinction from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the
University of Michigan. He is a member of the Board of Directors of
the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council.
