Dana Novakovic is the Managing Director of LB Capital,
London, an M&A and advisory house focusing on Energy and
Resources sectors.
Having started M&A advisory career as an Associate M&A
Energy with Lehman Brothers in New York, Dana moved with the Bank
to London in 2001. In her M&A roles over the past 10
years, she has acted as advisor to British Petroleum on the sale of
petrochemical assets in USA, UK and Germany, Project Director to
Électricité de France on North Sea mandates, and similar. On
the following capital markets deals she has served on the advisory
teams advising ROSNEFT on its $10.4 billion IPO in June 2006,
advising Russian gas producer NOVATEK on its IPO in July 2005; and
other IPOs.
Prior to LBC, Dana has held positions of Associate Director,
Energy with UBS Investment Bank, and Corporate Director, Energy
& Resources with ABN AMRO bank in London. In her previous role
as a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Co. she also acted as
a lead consultant to Royal Dutch / Shell in London.
Dana holds an MBA from the William E. Simon School, University
of Rochester, Rochester, New York with concentrations in Finance
and Accounting. She also serves on the Simon School Executive
Advisory Committee.
