Alexis Rodzianko

Mr. Rodzianko joined METROPOL IFC as CEO of Investment banking business in November 2010, he is also responsible for the company's operations inLondon,TokyoandCyprusas well as capital raising for its international projects.   

Previously he headed onshore private banking of Credit Suisse Group. During his work amount of actives in Credit Suisse has grown from zero to billion dollars and Mr. Rodzianko has entered into the five of the largest Russian players in private banking services.

From 2001 to 2006 he was at Deutsche Bank as CEO and Chief Country Officer ofRussia. The bank has been involved in a number of major projects while Mr. Rodzianko was on board. The bank provided a $150-million-direct-unsecured credit to Gazprom and a $100-million facility to Vneshekonombank, and also successfully brought Gazprombank and Magnitogorsk Metals Plant to the Eurobond market. Deutsche Bank also acquired UFG.

 In 1997 he joined JPMorgan Bank where became President of its Russian office.  In 1995 he was appointed CEO of United City Bank in Moscow, where he put  together its international brokerage.

Alexis Rodzianko began his business career at Arthur Andersen in 1980, followed by 14 years at Manufacturers Hannover Trust/ Chemical Bank in NY, where he held a variety of senior positions including position of Chairman.

In 1991 Mr Rodzianko is one of the founding Directors of the Emerging Markets Traders Association (EMTA) and in 1994 till 1995 served as Chairman of EMTA.

After graduating in 1973 from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, where he majored in Russian language and literature, Mr. Rodzianko worked as an interpreter. At the age of 26 from 1977 to 1979 he served as one of the official interpreters for theUSdelegation at the Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT II) inGenevaandViennabetween U.S. President Jimmy Carter and Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev. Mr. Rodzianko also received an MBA with distinction in finance from Colombia University (USA).
